Here he is!!! The Berkshire boar to take you ABOVE & BEYOND!!! This incredible Berkshire boar was our purchase from Decker Showpigs off the farm last Fall! When we saw him in his pen, there was no doubt he was coming to PBG!! We have had extremely high levels of success with our purchases from Decker and this special boar fits in as one of our favorites of any breed we have ever purchased from them!! He is THAT good!!! He puts together so much elite quality in terms of stoutness, power, and mass, and carries it all in a package that balances so well! On top of all this, he has a running gear that is absolutely built for speed which should allow his offspring to drive all the way to the backdrop!!!

Without question, he is one of the most popular boars of any breed or color we have ever had here at PBG and the first crop of pigs has even exceeded the highest expectations, winning at all levels early on in his career! ABOVE & BEYOND’S mother is an Outside The Lines x Shattered x Speak Now that combines all the dominant sow lines that are the backbone of the Decker Showpigs Berkshire program. As a show gilt, this sow was shown by Courtney Jackman in the summer of ’21 with lots of success including being named the 2021 Breeder’s Cup Champion Berkshire Gilt! The Shattered grandmother was Courtney Jackman’s 2019 Indiana State Fair Jr Show 3^rd Overall (Champion Berkshire Gilt), and the Speak Now x Monopoly great-grandmother was the 2018 OYE Reserve Grand Overall Purebred Gilt shown by the Varner Family!
