This one can hit that GRAND SLAM it takes to win a big one! GRAND SLAM and SMASH HIT were incredibly impressive baby pigs that have been so fun to watch develop through every stage of maturity. They each offer their own unique “ests” and extras that they bring to the table, yet still closely resemble each other in terms of their basic build, stout feature, and rugged skeleton combined with the look, design, and presence it takes to win!! Of the pair, GRAND SLAM reminds us so much of Heavy Hitter at this stage of maturity. He is busted open with power and width coming and going, displaying a very expressive muscle pattern on the top side of his skeleton all the way back to a monster hip. He is an extremely heavy boned boar that reads so stout at every indicator while maintaining elite presence and look from the side! Those extreme traits paired with functionality and athleticism have made Heavy Hitter such a predictable sire of champions and we truly believe GRAND SLAM has that same kind of potential!!

They are sired by HEAVY HITTER (Tricked Out x Next Intention x Never Before), a boar who may be off to one of the very best starts of any boar we have ever had here at PBG! HEAVY HITTER’S ability to generate truly special individuals, while still injecting skeletal correctness and deep, uniform litters very consistently is proving to be invaluable!! We think he has a chance to be a legend. The mother of GRAND SLAM and SMASH HIT is an incredible young Never Before sow that Cantrell purchased from Heimer that is also the mother of Trick Daddy at Crossroads Genetics. The predictability of generators responsible for wins at the very highest levels that are stacked on both sides of this pedigree gives us supreme confidence in what this tremendous pair of boars can do!!
