HOUSE CALL is a big time Berkshire boar that we bred here at PBG and have had the pleasure of watching through each stage of maturation! Sired by My House, the very popular Glasshouse son we purchased from Mauck Showhogs that we lost way too soon! My House has been on a tear all summer producing lots of wins, highlighted by the Lancaster Family’s 2021 NJSS 5th Overall Breeds (Champion Berk) Barrow who was also 2021 The Exposition Champion Berk Barrow!! The mother of HOUSE CALL is a Just for Men gilt that was bred by Wintex Farms! She was shown very successfully by Brody Everhart last summer! We thought she offered extremely unique breeding potential and we were pumped to add her to the sow herd! HOUSE CALL came out of one of the deepest litters we sold all Spring that have found great success this summer, most notably Brody Everhart’s Berkshire gilt that was exhibited in the crossbred show/sale at Louisville and ended up Reserve Grand Overall in the open cross gilt show!! HOUSE CALL has been a no doubt type of boar prospect from the start and we are pumped with how he has matured!! It’s time for a HOUSE CALL!!

HOUSE CALL is a Berkshire boar that is very unique! He is extremely big legged and heavy structured, yet still offers a great design and look from the side. He is busted open with width coming and going with a big back and expressive muscle pattern. He is so fluid and comfortable on the move and plans on an enormous rear leg! HOUSE CALL is a very versatile boar that looks like he will work on a wide range of types and kinds while still injecting the extras it takes to win at the highest level!! We expect HOUSE CALL to do great things in the Berkshire breed!!
