This is MY HOUSE!! Wow-what a tremendous Berkshire boar!! We had been hearing about a pair of Berk boars at Mauck's that were perhaps the best ones they had ever bred!! Everyone who is familiar with the type of dominating success the Mauck's have had in both the show ring, as well as with the generating ability the Berkshire boars they have bred have demonstrated, will know this is a BOLD statement, but we truly believe MY HOUSE has a chance to be that special kind of sire!!
Sired by the late, great Glass House, who just sired the 2020 Team Purebred Junior National Grand Overall Breeds Gilt! MY HOUSE is also a littermate to Vade Dishman's gilt that has been highly successful all summer! MY HOUSE is an absolute stud that we think is one of the very best boars of any breed we have added in a long time! The best way we can describe MY HOUSE is that we think he looks like a modern-day Shotgun Wedding, with way more power and mass!!
MY HOUSE is a Berkshire boar that is built to be bred to lots of different types and kinds. He offers lots of extremes and "ests" and does so with a skeletal build that is so complete and fault free. On the profile, he is the epitome of balance and build! MY HOUSE is a moderate boar that is still very proportionate in his frame and scale and offers extension and elevation. He is big and bold in his chest floor and maintains this spread through his center body and spring to his upper rib. When you get on top of him, he is packed full of product with a big square back. As he drives away, he does so with an absolutely ideal hip/hind leg that can motor and go for as long as you could ever want.
