STEP ASIDE is another very impressive Yorkshire boar purchase that we made on our visit to Stohlquist Showpigs early this summer! As we were looking through all the boars on feed, STEP ASIDE really left an impression on us. He was a young boar that was so impressive in his build and design.

STEP ASIDE is a boar that is bred to be a generator, lining up several generations of Yorkshires that have won at a high level, while also breeding on and making productive change within the breed. That genetic excellence is on full display when viewing this boar!! STEP ASIDE is a boar that can be used on a wide variety of types and kinds, and we believe he has a chance to be an extremely successful sire of champions!

What first struck us while looking at STEP ASIDE was the absolute comfort he exhibited as he drove up and down the aisle. The design to his hip, and function of his hind leg is so impressive, as he can reach forward and drive with authority around the yard. STEP ASIDE is an extremely stout, heavy boned, big footed boar that remains very strong on his front feet. He is very attractive through he head/neck and is balanced and very proportionate from the side profile. STEP ASIDE is really bold and opened up in center portion of his body cavity and maintains this spread and dimension throughout.

STEP ASIDE is a boar that is so flexible and pliable. He can motor all day and never miss a step. It is extremely impressive to see him in motion to study his design and function. When its time to make them better - STEP ASIDE!!
