Silver Spoon is our exciting Yorkshire purchase from Dan Burzlaff at STC! We went to Louisville looking for a boar that would help fix some of the issues prevalent in the Yorkshire breed, without sacrificing the “extras†that it takes to be successful in the show ring on the biggest stages. When Silver Spoon came into class, we knew he was the one that fit that bill to the Tee.
Silver Spoon is very stout skulled and masculine in his head and neck! He opens up into a bold sprung center body and has good muscle mass working down his back. Silver Spoon is special in his ability to transition so smoothly in his ham/loin junction with shape working up high all the way down low through his stifle. As he comes and goes, Silver Spoon exhibits awesome squareness and power and is sound, flexible, and structurally correct! We have confidence that Silver Spoon will prove to be a very successful sire of very well designed, balanced Yorkshire hogs that are correct, square, and very athletic. Big time Yorkshire sire with an interesting twist on the bottom side of his pedigree--We are excited about the future of Silver Spoon!
