We went in to the summer wanting to add a Hereford boar to our program to satisfy the growing demand that this breed is providing and wanted to get one straight from the firm that has had a great deal of influence in the progress this breed has made! We had talked to Mr. Loof a couple of times regarding the set of Hereford boars he had on feed for the summer and after seeing pictures of his set, "RED HOT was the one who hit us like the one we needed to own!

To start, he offers an outcross pedigree that offers flexibility in terms of the genetic backgrounds he can be used on at breeding time! RED HOT is also very unique in his phenotypic makeup, being a tall shouldered boar that offers some length of frame, while still being big centered, opened up from end to end with a very unique set to his hip and hind leg.

We forecast that RED HOT will have a big impact on the Hereford showring in the years to come!!
